Cucumber Dal or Dosakaya Pappu Recipe Ingredients

Cucumber - 1
Toor dal - 1/2 cup
Jeera – 1/4 tsp
Garlic-3
Red chillies-2
Green chillies- 4
Curry leaves -few
Water-3 cups
Oil
Salt
Cucumber Dal or Dosakaya Pappu Recipe Procedure

Peel and chop the cucumber into small pieces.
Wash toor dal and soak for 10 minutes.
In a Pressure Cooker, Add toor dal with 3 cups of water. Cook in a pan up to 2 whistles. (Keep a side boiled toor dal).
Add the oil in a heavy bottom pan, when oil heats up add jeera, curry leaves, red and green chillies. Fry a minute.
Next add chopped cucumber pieces fry them lightly and add salt.
Now add the boiled toor dal and mix. Cook for 5 minutes.
