Egg Dum Biryani Recipe Ingredients



Eggs-4
Oil-4 tsp
Onion sliced-1
Mint Leaves chopped-half cup
Ginger Garlic Paste-3 tsp
Green Chilies-4
Green Peas-1/ 2 cup
Chili Powder-1 tsp
Garam Masala-1/4 tsp
Lemon juice-3 tbsp
Saffron-3 strands
Soaking the Rice-3 cups
Cardamoms-3
Cloves-3
Cinnamon-2 half pieces
Bay Leaves-3
Biryani Flower-2

Egg Dum Biryani Recipe Procedure
 Boil the Eggs peel and make 3 or 4 slits on it using a knife.
Boil the green peas and keep a side.
Wash rice and soak in water. After 15 minutes, cook the rice. When rice is cooked let it sit for 5 minutes before. ( arranging it for dum)
In a pan add the oil, fry sliced onions until golden brown and take half of the fried onions and keep it aside.
Add chopped mint leaves, ginger garlic paste, sliced green chilies, cloves, cardamom, biryani flower, and cinnamon and fry for 2 minute.
Add boiled green peas and eggs. Fry for a minute.
Add chili powder, salt and curry leaves. Cook well.
Put saffron to warm milk for a minute.
Take a wide pan with remaining oil. Spread one layer half the cooked rice in it and put the egg mixture to make the second layer.
Again spread the remaining half rice on the second layer. Sprinkle saffron milk, fried onions. Cover the pan with a well fitted lid or plate.
 Cook it on low heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Finally sprinkle the lemon juice and serve hot.
